Test driving my new rebuilt engine and car, I have a small squeak or cherp sound at idle. Would that be a exhaust leak or intake? I'm guessing an exhaust leak. It is running pretty good, still have several bug to work out.

If you have the OE distributor - did you remember to put a little grease on the cams & arm-ends of both the ignition points & EFI trigger points? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)
That's what it sounds like to me from your description - & it would happen at all speeds, but be hard to hear at the faster RPMs. Happy 4th! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/flag.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Tom /////// |
