I'm installing the new 914Rubber HID headlights; new to know whether the plastic cover/shell over the front of the HID is supposed to stay or be removed

1st pic shows that cover partially off
2nd pic is the cover on and the end-thingy screwed in...

The cover stays on. It actually helps make them waterproof. There is also a second set included.

Thanks ! And I found the second set, kinda hard to see if I didn't know they were packed in the foam.....

Not all have them. I know I put an extra set in with his as I didn't need them.
