> anyone weld ball joint style a arms on early 911-912 a arms without hole for ball joints(whatever that is called)? I, the 911 a arms with the fat diagonal bar but no hole looks much more solid than our stock 914 a arms

has anyone welded the a arm part with the hole onto the 911 912 early style a arms with no hole in them for a ball joint? it almost looks doable the a arms look much more of a stylish design? I know this sounds sort of wacko I just like the look of those a arms and want the fatter diagonal tube?
