I order up some replacement intake gaskets for my retro fit of the D-Jet back onto my 2.0l from Webers. My question is about the plastic intake gaskets and the addition of sealant or paper gaskets to go with them. The replacements look to be plastic phenolic with out paper on each side like i have seen and used in the past. Do I need to add the paper gaskets with the new phenolics? I have used aviation sealant in the past and was successfully sealing the IDF manifolds. Any advise would be appreciated

Best Regards
-Robert

Porsche 914 intake gaskets can be found on Ebay and Amazon among other places, such as the VW or Porsche dealer parts department:
