Received my Manual throttle assembly from 914 Rubber and it looks great! But no specific instruction regarding the “Shark Fin” and I have not seen a real one up close. I understand where and how the lever and rod go that's no problem.
Did some poking around here on the site (IMG:style_emoticons/default/type.gif) where I thought I might see pictures but I did not see the small “shark fin” and how and where exactly it goes on the gas pedal. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) Does anybody have a good picture of the "Shark Fin" installed either real original 914-6 or 914 Rubber version? Of course I had just got all the pedal cables hooked up and adjusted when I received the assembly not understanding how the hand throttle actually worked. I’m thinking the whole pedal assembly has to come out. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) “Shark Fin” is on the far left. Thanks! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/white914.jpg) |

Darn You're a good dude, Ben. Just noticing the strengthening "rib" on the factory piece, likely due to the way the rod operates. Curious if that pressure has been dealt with in the new piece? Seriously, good on those who worked to make this product happen! |
