Hi all,
Happy Thanksgiving. I'm a new 914-4 owner and am looking for help in deciding on a new set of tires for my 1973 2.0L. The car is pretty much stock but I hope to take it to an occasional AX but mostly drive it in the back canyons. It won't be out in the rain, so I am not worried about hydroplaning or such. I'm looking at Yoko Advan A048, Toyo Proxes R888R and Falken Azenis RT615K+ Does anyone have experience with these on their cars? Or any suggestions for any other brand/type of tire? thanks. Just got back from a track day, I was nervous to slide off the track (wasn't pushing too hard) but the BFG Rival seemed to hook good. I got 1.2g in some of the turns. I will say on the street when they were colder they could break loose a little easier than I expected.
