I've been toying with going to the Elephant GT3 set up. I happily admit a major part of it for me (beyond the fact that it works) is simply that it's beautiful. And I love functional beauty.
Tony (Cracker) is running near Cup car pace with raised spindles/torsion bars so for essentially all of us, IMO, it's jewelry.

Wonderfully drool-worthy, pure sex jewelry. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drooley.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)

Slippery slope, indeed. I say enjoy the ride down that slope!
