1.) If you remove the dizzy cap and have the power hooked up to the coil with the dizzy points closed, when you push them open with a screwdriver, you should see a spark.
2.) If the power is hooked to the coil and the points are closed, the coil should get warm and eventually hot and explode. 3.) The points must open and close for the coil to work. |
