BFO: Blinding (or Brilliant) Flash of the Obvious
Basically, if I can do it anyone can and like most 914 projects, it is possible to screw it up. Background: I'm sending the door card from my 1971 to be repaired. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/farm1.staticflickr.com-7438-1531701156.1.jpg)[/url] First remove the two plugs at either end of the door pocket. Fingernails or a plastic spudge will do it. They are a little sticky, I guess so they are less likely to pop out. Mine are unlabelled!) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/farm2.staticflickr.com-7438-1531701158.4.jpg) |

In this pic, I lined up the metal tab with the slot in the white painted door to show how it will eventually go back together. Of course, it's upside down but you get the idea. You'll see it when you take the card off the door.
