After agonizing over removing the seal sealer I finally jumped in. I ended buying a pneumatic scraper that I really didn't think would work. HF for $29.
Wow! after only 10 minutes with the scraper one shock tower looked like this. Then I used a heat gun for the residual and was finished with that in 30 minutes. A small flathead worked best. I then used a conditioning disc to clean it up and the pass side now looks like this. A coat of Picklex 20 and done for today. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer3.gif) |
