Bought it in neglected shape as a summer project, and I have no interest in keeping it long term. It's definitely been fun, but I do Westfalias.

Background is a 90's restoration. Willow Green car from Nebraska. Resto was done locally by an air-cooled VW shop, with about $10k in receipts from 1998. Repainted India Red, motor rebuilt with a Weber progressive conversion, 4 lug Mahles. Hell hole patched. Pretty thorough job, and the car hasn't done much since.

I drive it to work a few days each week. Motor runs perfectly. Doubt it has more than a few k on it since the rebuild. Weber setup is surprisingly nice. World's beyond one I had on an 1835. Shift linkage could use adjustment by someone who knows what they're doing. Rockers are in good shape. Battery tray patch is holding up well. Original floor pans with some rust, and a patch on the driver's right seat mount. It's far from a rust bucket.

Well sorted car for someone who wants to focus on cosmetics.

Asking $6,000. Located in Ardmore, OK. Email Jim at jhall611@gmail.com, or call/text 580-222-5727. I'll respond to a text faster than a call.
