I ordered an air/fuel gauge so I properly tune my carburetors and now need to weld in the bung for the Ox sensor.
My car has a Triad muffler so I'm thinking the transfer pipe between the upper and lower mufflers? I really want to measure both banks so if one of the carbs goes lean I have some advanced warning. I've read it's better to put the sensor before the muffler so don't know. The only other option is to place the sensor in the header right where it enters the muffler but then I'm only reading one side. Tim |

Yup, before the muffler- angle it up per previous post.
I don't have a triad, but here's a shot of mine installed right before the collector pipe enters the muffler. What brand AFR did you go with? I went with the PLX Bluetooth one so I could use my phone for monitoring readings rather than installing a gauge (wanted to keep the stock dash look). |
