I know there are old threads on this topic but thought it would be fun to share my latest 914 fantasy with the group. Any idea on how the rear of this 914 was built? Maybe using the rear end from a Subaru brat or was it all hand formed?

Only two built by troutman that I am aware of.
The red car that is now owned by Myron is the one I tried unsuccessfully to buy many times when it was part of the Bill Jackson collection here in Colorado. It is the 4cyc brown car with the girl in the original pics. It is in excellent hands with Myron. The six car, seen with the fuchs and phone dials is the one that was converted by Gunner to be a safety/fire car replica with flairs ect added. If you look at the black and white safety car pic, that was a flared six, not a pickup |
