As I work on my -6 clone I was wondering what most use for the wiper motor? I swear someone mentioned using a 944 motor??

Just an update the 944 motor is 3 speed.. Confirmed this morning.

Just an update the 944 motor is 3 speed.. Confirmed this morning. Yes I think you will be ok ,the 944 one has a good speed on full ,appears there is a lot of other motors they may fit within the VW group when they went to 3 speed,if adding to a 911 switch this is an easy option with wiring matched up. I see no point in replacing a motor @ this point unless it works better,the 914 one is rather (70's) slow (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) . |
