I suspect my temperature head sensor is the reason my 914 runs a little rough the first couple miles.
I know where it is on my 1.7. Do need to remove the tin to replace or can it be removed through the tin hole? I know a deep socket is needed to stuff the wire in. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. |

I use a deep socket I bought at Harbor freight, I drilled a hole in the side of the (cheap throw- away) socket for the wire. I use it quite often.
