Can't remember how many folks said this was "easily" restorable in the original post.... Even though a real six, doesn't seem to be garnering much interest. Restoration costs will exceed ultimate sales price at todays 914-6 valuations. Nearly every square cm scares the pee out of me, that's for sure. Everything is either crushed, burnt, rusted beyond belief, MIA, etc. At least there's a key in the ignition. probably eight years from now everyone will think it a bargain (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) it will happen ,had it been burnt as well as crashed ? Edit reread the original ebay add, looks like fire started in the engine bay and really got left to burn, lots of heat in the interior. IMO this will resurface as a vin swap as the front of the car appears suitable for a weld on to a better (straight) period 4cyl shell. |
