Wipers stop in mid sweep. Any way to set starting point or is the motor shot?

I was afraid of that. The current park position is pretty much straight up. From the straight up position the wiper sweeps 90 degrees toward the driver side, then 180 degrees to the passage side. When the switch is turned off the wipers park at straight up.
You mentioned that the short arm can be adjusted. According to the attached diagram there does not appear to be an adjustment unless you are referring to the connection at the motor. Can I remove the motor and reposition the connection to adjust the short arm? Thanks for any help you can provide.  |
