Can anyone tell me what the clearance between the inside lip of a 6" or 7" Fuchs and the body is please? My car hasn't arrived yet to measure it myself.

Thanks Mark,
The 6" and 7" Fuchs have the same backspace, the extra inch is on the outer lip which is the more obvious issue. Using the 3 piece wheels you can use a wider inner barrel and thinner outer lip..... i.e. 6" barrel and 1" lip is almost the same as a 7" Fuchs. If there is room on the inside you could go to a 6.5" barrel and affectively have a wheel that is 8" bead to bead, a gentle massage on the fender as you say would also be required. |
