Since my 2002 engine seemed to bring a few "crossover" enthusiasts out of the woodwork, here's my latest dreaming.
Saw this car on craigslist for $350. Anybody wanna buy me a christmas present? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Attached image(s) |

In 1974 I went to the SF carshow and my 2 favorite cars were the 914 and the 2002. I was 14 years old then.
I have owned a 2002 and was very involved with the driving events, and I now own the 914. I have always felt very comfortable in these cars and I think it has something to do with the relativly vertical windshield. Whenever I'm in the 914 I still feel like I'm a 14 yr old kid. Now with 3 boys I am considering a 2002 for the back seat and 914s are a drag to work on without a hoist. I prefer doing my valve adjustments standing up. The stock 914 far outhandles a stock 2002.
