It is with great excitement to announce that #40 has found new ownership with us, in the Schneider Family. Michael & Renee Hagen, two of the most amazing individuals I have gotten to know so well, have entrusted #40's ownership to us going forward, and we couldn't be more thrilled. With such history, we are honored to oversee this vehicle in to its next chapter of life within our possession.

Man-o-man! Hard to believe that the most significant 914-6 GT cars of all time continue to change hands in this celebratory year of the 914.
First off, kudos to Mike Hagen for his pursuit of this crown jewel of the 914 world and his long-time stewardship of what is arguably the most significant 914 on the planet. So refreshing to see that Mike has passed the torch to someone offering more than deep pockets. Nicely done! Congratulations Marty & Matthew! The Hagen history of the car is chronicled in the "Forgotten Hero" article from 911 and Porsche World, October 2000 posted at Armando's Pbase 9146 GT website. You can view the article here: https://pbase.com/9146gt/9146gt_factory_rac...31020_sonauto40 Hey guys, I hope you don't mind my budget narrow-body tribute to your beautiful car to be featured at the 24 Minutes of Le Mans 914 parade lap tribute at Mosport August 2, 2020 to mark the 50th Anniversary of the big win! Any PCA 914 owners able to bring their cars to participate please see our SIG914 Updates in the garage forum located here: http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=341094 |
