It is with great excitement to announce that #40 has found new ownership with us, in the Schneider Family. Michael & Renee Hagen, two of the most amazing individuals I have gotten to know so well, have entrusted #40's ownership to us going forward, and we couldn't be more thrilled. With such history, we are honored to oversee this vehicle in to its next chapter of life within our possession.

At the end of June 1970 Claude Ballot-Léna ran the car in La Ronde Cévenole in France. He did not finish due to an accident (probably what prompted the color change).

At the end of June 1970 Claude Ballot-Léna ran the car in La Ronde Cévenole in France. He did not finish due to an accident (probably what prompted the color change). I suspect the colour change was to bring the car in line with Sonauto's new livery of yellow with green, but I may be wrong. Their RS rally car was in the same colours (it looks blue in this photo, but is green in real life). |
