So, we’re testing one of our new improved relays and we’re currently through 545,000 cycles. We are doing live load testing on a timer that cycles ever 7 seconds. It may stop tomorrow, it may keep going for a few more months. So let’s bet how many cycles can we get before it dies?
Closest guess gets a $50 credit What’s your number.? Attached image(s) |

Why would we put them outside? Testing should be for the application they are being used for. Anything else is just playing.
If we have to take ten it may take awhile. We've seen enough that we offer a 2 yr warranty, that's way better than anything else on the market. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

I just don’t think the originals failed from over use. I think they failed because of age and corrosion. Most 914s have spent considerable time outdoors. At least the two I have did. I figure Portland is worse than some, and better than others. It snowed here on Sunday, but they didn’t put out road salt. If the body’s rust, so can the relays. Thank God I can now get dependable relays from a reliable, stand up source. Not like the cheap, fail out of the box relays I have been getting. Thanks Mark! |
