This is my old car. I bought it from a now diseased Golden Gate Region Porsche guy who occasionally tracked it. It was a ratty old race car when I got it. I pulled out the single hoop roll bar, installed a street interior with RS door panels, factory gauges, new dash vinyl, and then traded it for a Beck Lister.
The new owner (who I know) pulled the 2.2L S Spec motor out and installed a 3.8L twin plug. (if my memory serves me correctly?) It has the Patrick engine mounts and it's a shame to see it now torn apart and robbed of the wheels, motor, etc. that were on it. It was a very nice street legal car when I traded it. I had a bunch of work into the car to convert it back to street. Gary Dilacher of GD Racing was most likely the one that sold it for the former owner. If the new owner wants more info on the guy who owned and raced this for many years, let me know. Doug |
