Anyone running a Boxster 5spd? Just wondering what they are doing about a speedo. 914 is cable driven and boxster are electric? I am doing a 1.8T swap and trying to work out issues

The speedo in most boxster/cayman implementations comes from the ABS system using the wheel speed sensors. So the trans has absolutely no provision to drive a speedometer.

I put a Cayman 6 speed into my car, and I use a GPS driven 911 speedo.

The thread for how to do this is here: http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?sho...=230296&hl=

Good luck.
