Dear all,

as I had the ski rack offered

http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?sho...352901&st=0

I noticed the discussion and also thought about
- metric screws
- paint protection rubber mat

I checked out today the hardware dealer for the screws and bought some fitting parts according to my originals I do have. Allen scews had not been available in the correct length, but these could be shortened easily.

For the paint protection mat I noticed the original part being some sort of tissue reinforced rubber material, showing a thickness of 1,8 -2,0mm.
I organized the material in the 2,O mm strength from the whole saler and punched the correct hole sizes -6 mm - after the cut-out.

From the attached pics you can see the new parts - being darker - and the old originals in comparison.

So if anyone is in need of these, just pm me....
easy to be shipped in an envelope.

br

stay safe&healthy

I will do so as requested tomorrow and move this topic over to the correct location.

concerning the screws and fasterners I do also think these should be available elsewhere in the www or around the corner.

I had a further question for the L profile

The measurements for the L profile are as following:
thinkness 3mm
width 25mm
L long side 21,70mm
L short side 18,30mm
hole, thread, 3mm from side
3,85mm from top
space between center 16,25mm

the threaded screw for the L profile is a M4x10, DIN 965.
this needed to be shortended to an overall length of 6mm
the hex bolts screws for the roof rack are M6x12, DIN 933.

all material in stainless

No - leave this here, but do your for sale link either in the Classifieds Parts For Sale &/or as a Member Vendor Forum Topic if you want a longer standing For Sale topic post.

That's where you'll need to list prices for the items you sell.

This topic is good here, & you can add a post with the link(s) in here to your member-vendor &/or classified ad(s) post.

That's what I meant to do, & I think what Mark meant too. Just some help to a new member on where to put your parts kits to actually sell them.

Good Luck! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
