[RANT]
Wed the 17th i ordered a Mallory Unilite distributor, along with plug wires, and an oil pressure relocation kit from supplier "A" . Minutes after I ordered i had an email confirmation saying that "A" had logged my order. In that email it had the list of items i ordered, and if any were to be delayed they would have a 'd' next to the item description. no where in the email was a 'd' . Fast forward today.... one week later. I call the 'shipping manager' at place "A" , asking when can i expect my package (christmas presents to myself....) he asks, 'what did you order?' i tell him mallor........ he says "vac or no vac" i say 'non....' he says, " were out of those" , i say, "My invoice says you arent, and if you are, it would have been nuce to get a fricken email saying that there was a delay!", he says "SORRY" (very short with me) i ask, when can i expect it.... "mid january" WTF (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/finger.gif) needless to say im kinda pissed. website/emails said it was instock...... not a notification that it wasnt.... WTF??? where else can i shop for a mallory unilite.....at "A"'s price? [/RANT] |

Open your own business:
You'll soon learn just what a difficult life can be, and you'll probably gain some patience with suppliers in the process. On many occasions I have attempted to be in the parts business, and realized that at the time it was not my cup of tea. I have learned over the years that at least 25% of the US population cannot be pleased... The odd thing is that I have never experienced any issues with selling anything to a customer overseas! Here I have to sometimes pick and choose customers and all the guys overseas are happy no matter what! Interesting........ |
