I have a Subaru WRX turbo conversion with a Renegade Hybrid radiator kit, today I was driving it in Phoenix during a 109 degree day, and it started to sputter and run a bit rough. I opened the front trunk, the fuel tank was so hot i couldn’t touch it. I am guessing the radiator, AC Condenser, and fans are blowing the hot air directly onto the tank. Has anyone done any shrouding to direct the air out of the openings on the side of the trunk.
I know I have seen pictures of this, just can’t find them. Anyone have any pics? Thanks Ed |

Hard to tell from that pic but it looks like the opening is too large. Try reducing it a little with a piece of cardboard or a piece of scrap metal to see if that helps. Also, you can measure the holes and determine the area of each in square inches.
