On my wiper switch there are 5 wires. Black, Brown, Green, Black/White, Black/Green
The black wire (behind the brown) mates to a brown/black wire on the main harness which isn't used. It was capped off and taped into the body of the harness right at the wiper motor. My wiring harness is a 1973. Testing for continuity between the black and the ground I get tone when I pull the wiper switch forward. I also get continuity on the black/white wire which connects to a red/black wire to the wiper motor. Can I use the black/brown to power an electric washer pump? Thanks. George |

Your correct. Check out intermittent wiper installation in the Classic section.
