Going to have my gas tank cleaned and coated. I'm guessing the silver colored washer shown in the picture is the bottom of the strainer / screen? How to remove it? Its stuck in there pretty good. Can I pry out with a small screwdriver or grab with pliers and pull. Didn't want to get too crazy on it and damage the adjacent threads.
Any other suggestions are appreciated. Thanks. Ed ![]() |

They melt quickly when heat is applied with a butane torch. But since it may harbor fumes you'd need fill the tank with water first. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
