I have an over the phone/internet price of $6K. Going back original black car. Car to be painted inside and out with sealer on the bottom. Everything is ready to go. Completely stripped to shell. Says it will be ready in two weeks. Good price? What is the consensus?

I'll put another data point out there.
Back in early 2000's I used to have oversight over vehicles that were preppped for the Detroit Auto Show. Wasn't uncommon to spend $20K on base coast/clear coat paint jobs for that high visibility show. Translated to 2021 dollars - $33k ![]() So for all the guys with nice paint jobs coming in at $10k - 15K in 2022 dollars that isn't as outrageous as it may seem at 1st glance. |
