I was told to throw away the seals for the push rods that come in the gasket set because they are junk. I ordered a set of Viton seals about 6 months ago from AA. They are black. I thought the Vitons were a brownish color, but then again, Jakes video shows them as green. Which way do I go?

Allan - did you order your seal kit from Pelican? I just finished rebuilding and installing my 1973 2.0 engine using that seal kit. Half of the PR seals were green and half - ??? I can't remember. Are you other guys suggesting that those PR seals in the Pelican kit will fail? Cheers, Nate |
