Hey guys, if there are any newbies in the SF/Bay Area that are interested in autocross, you may want to consider enrolling in this school. It fills up pretty quickly every year, so email me if you are interested for more info: howard@aberrance.com
Remember, beginners only!! The GGR/Porboys Beginners Autocross School Event Chairmen: John Seidell and Howard Yao Date: February 26, 2005. Saturday from 8:00-4:00 Cost: $85 a person, includes lunch and t-shirt Location: Candlestick Stadium parking lot This event is limited to 51 students and is intended for members who have little or no autocross experience. Demand is always high for this event, so if I receive your check after the school is full, you will be placed on the waiting list, in case someone cancels. If you do not want to be on the waiting list, let me know and I will simply throw away your check. Skills that we will be working on include: skidpad, course walk, course analysis, worker positions, and a lot of seat time on the course! This is also a good events for couples, family, and friends to spend a day learning together. Two drivers can share one Porsche for this event, with no reduction in driving time. |

Ok I'm in. This is perfect for guy like me. I have only ever autocrossed once and that was in a 300 HP Dodge Dakota (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/driving.gif) many years ago. So my 914 V8 will be quite different. Are there any restrictions on the students car?
