Hey, I need the part numbers for the left and right window guide caps. Here's a picture. It's part #20.

I did a little research over lunch and found a place that sells a plastic mold making kit. I ordered one and will try to make a mold of the RH guide (I have a new one). If successful, I will post results. Then I will need someone to lend me a LH guide to make a mold pattern from. My understanding is that the part won’t be harmed when making the mold as the mold is made from a two part silicon rubber.
If this all works I will offer the LH and RH guides for sale. Doesn't look like the cost will be much more than what the NLA parts were selling for. |
