Have not seen a body kit like this before. Looks like a combination of a few different kits. I noticed the front trunk is full size, they must have stuck the radiator in the very front. Interesting looking car. I wonder what it will go for?

The guy clearly doesn't know a thing about rotaries. For example, what "head" would he be referring to when he says "the head has been ported and polished"? Surprised to see he didn't say that it had sodium filled valves. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif)
The engine is probably ported - either with a streetport or bridgeport (most likely a streetport). Without a turbo it is doubtfull that it is anywhere near the power level that he is claiming. A stock second generation RX7 Turbo made around 190 horsepower. To remove the turbo and get 40% more power a bridgeport or peripheral port engine is needed. The peripheral port is out of the question since it looks like he has the stock intake. So the only thing left is a bridgeport which would not be a good choice for a street car. A bridgeported engine has a high idle and only makes power in the upper rpm's. I believe it is most likely streetported and not making anywhere near the power level he is bragging about. With a well tuned streetport he would be making under 200 hp. Assuming that, how many other things has he "inflated" in the name of selling a car? |
