Father's Signal Orange 914 2.0 with 88,000 original miles is now mine! A few details: No mechanical faults. Black interior, Non-appearance group but with center console and gauges, lowered with Koni shocks, "2 Litre" Fuchs wheels and new 195/65-15 Pirelli P6000 tires. Otherwise stock and very clean. No rust too! Porsche has been in dry storage in Palo Alto for 16 years. Last DMV registration was 1988 - so long ago that the VIN dropped off the DMV records! Now re-registered in my name. New home will be Sunnyvale. I'll post a few pics when the car is running again. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/driving.gif)

Incredible condition!! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif)
I'll give you $2000 for it right now.....do you deliver? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) I changed the fuel lines in my '74 mainly because I didn't trust the rubber OEM parts (dry rot) of the fuel system, but the rigid nylon (mat'l?) hoses seemed relatively sound. You've got a nice car there my friend! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beerchug.gif) |
