I got my transmission and rear control arms bead blasted to clean them up and make them look nice...and they look great. This is a mag case transmission so I soaked it with WD-40 after the blasting to give it a nice look once the oxidation starts. All I need to do now is get all of the other parts together and taken to be powdercoated.

Awe man I wish I hand't seen that tranny - lol.
I've been considering what to do with my tranny - clean it up a little or a lot. I think that I just saw the answer. That looks great! Why the WD 40 Soaking? |
