A friend sent this to me. Been trying to confirm this or not. Does anyone know for sure? The website seems legit, I thought I seen a news story on this subject a few months ago but I don't remember what was said (first the minds goes then I forget what's next). We need to do this on our company cell phones and you might also consider it for any personal phones. The telemarketing folks are moving to start calling cell phones to market products. What should you do? Call the Federal Trade Commission at 888-382-1222 to register your cell phone on the government's "National Do Not Call Registry." The call MUST be made from the cell phone in order to register it. You may also register your cell phone by visiting the government Web site at: http://www.donotcall.gov/ |
