Since I sold my driver, and it will be awhile before I finish my other 914, I kind of miss it. I drove my 356 yesterday, but there is nothing quite like a 914. Sitting basically on the floor, inches from the road is an experience that is hard to duplicate.

356's are cool in their own way but there is no comparison to a 914 with regard to handling.
356 utilizes an archaic swing axle which leads to vehicle jacking and poor camber control during hard cornering. As previously stated - swing axles are an obsolete vehicle architecture where as semi trailing arm architecture (used on 914) was still in widespread use well into the 80's, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GeGQcTvwcrw Get another 914 -- you won't regret having it vs. the 356. |
