Anyone using Porsche Classic 20w50 motor oil? If so have you noticed any changes to cooling or oil pressure?

I wonder if the oil is really a special formulation (it may actually be) or just re-bottled Castrol?

I wonder if the oil is really a special formulation (it may actually be) or just re-bottled Castrol? It has been discussed in depth on the 356 forums, and probably elsewhere. I don't know if anyone ever got to the bottom of their actual formula. The popular opinion seems to be added zinc. I don't know if you can get to the 356 forum without a membership, so here's an oil analysis post elsewhere. |
