I sent this to Rob and he sent me a set of 80 mm heads without valves and some useless pistons pistons
Engine 1 914/6 air cleaner- melted Air cleaner snap cans – rusted thru Weber IDA carbs – broken air correction screw, seized throttle shafts Missing linkage cross bar, reverse lever and mounting brackets Cam shafts pitted Both cam towers – gouged cam bearing areas, second twisted Oil Cooler – crushed & does not hold pressure Heads (2.0 L1819d 911T) fly cut to 2.2L, inconsistent combustion chamber volumes, many studs missing 2.2L pistons and cylinders – water damaged, cylinders sanded Missing 2 rear engine transmission mounting studs m10x105mm (999.062.099.02) Engine 2 Only 1 K&N filter Zenith cards - seized throttle shafts, incorrect for 914/6 Alternator ring cracked (fan and alternator acceptable) Missing linkage cross bar, reverse lever and mounting brackets fiberglass engine shroud - broken mounting holes, Incorrect version Oil Cooler – AN? fitting welded to bottom 2.2L pistons and cylinders – mismatched set, water damaged, cylinders sanded Oil pump - Seized Missing flywheel Missing 2 rear transmission mounting studs m10x105mm (999.062.099.02) |

Weber IDA carbs – broken air correction screw, seized throttle shafts Post to classifieds if you don’t want to deal with fixing them. I’m interested at the right price point that reflects need for machine work and a Total Overhaul. Whatever you do, don’t scrap them! Same on the plastic air cleaner assembly. |
