Don't quote me on this... cause maybe I'm putting 2 and 2 together when I shouldn't.

but the rumor I heard was this:

who is the guy that owns the Utah Jazz.. think his name is steve or something. Anyways he is a big time Shelby Cobra fan. The Shelby Cobra museum is here in Boulder and is apparently the worlds largest gathering of cobras.

Supposedly some of them are this steve guys.

anyways one of our local tracks in MEAD colorado was named: mountain view. About 3 years back this same steve guy bought it and changed the name to: Continental Divide Raceway (CDR)

So Steve buys CDR and proposes to double it in size and also build a whole new paddock area and large Cobra Museum on site.

Town of mead (about 10miles away from where I live)..
nix the idea... They claim noise polution and then proceded to annex the land into their town boundaries.
This has been brought back to the city council 3 years running but a bunch of Aholes in the town keep shooting it down.

All of the above is true, but the rumor part is that apparently Steve finally decided to relocate and that he is the money behind the new Utah facility. If that is true, then I'm guessing it won't be all that long until the Cobra museum reloates too. I'm hearing a completion date of Fall 2005 is possible.
