Hi all , really desperate now , i have a 1972 914 with a 2.0 , i have had it all sprayed now and looks the part + added twin 40 webbers , but i need help on the wiring as its just shot i have bad eaths i cant get my lights to pop up, rear tail lights have no power to them etc etc , really this car needs totally re wiring, is there a place i can get a new complete loom , or wiring diagram , or does anybody in West Yorkshire rewire these cars ? totally desperate now , and loosing the will to live

When I was restoring my '62 bug
I had considered installing a new harness but many advised me that the old harnesses were much more robust to just clean them up make good contacts and grounds etc. and that it would be fine. Is this true of the 914s Or are the new harnesses better? Thanks Drex |

Is this true of the 914s Or are the new harnesses better? Thanks Drex My gut reaction would be to keep the original unless it's really burnt or otherwise damaged. New harnesses are quite expensive. |
