..of a trans housing leak as a result of a prior welding repair made years ago. The repair of a punched hole was apparently made with aluminum weld material, and has developed a leak at the welded patch. My mechanic's welder is having trouble finding magnesium welding rods to properly make the repair now, can any of you suggest a source for these mag rods? This info is way above my pay grade when it comes to welding! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hissyfit.gif)

I know Zims has a bunch of transmissions cheap. Contact Aaron ( @partsguy22 ) for a good used transmission. If the guts of yours is good, have Dr Evil transfer it into the new case. |
