I've run into something weird that no one has mentioned. I have to lock my door to get it to stay shut or "latch". Anything? Kevin |

Guys, I've run into something weird that no one has mentioned. I have to lock my door to get it to stay shut or "latch". Anything? Kevin Pull the latch and throughly degrease it in WD-40 or ultra sonic cleaner. Once it’s clean, try moving the parts. Your problem should become apparent. Look at that spring; is was my problem. If one end of that spring jumps off its post, the latch won’t work. Also check to see if the spring has flat ends; it’s not a garden variety spring.
