I've run into something weird that no one has mentioned. I have to lock my door to get it to stay shut or "latch". Anything? Kevin |

When removing the latch:
Roll window up Remove the outer door pull Remove the three screws that hold the latch mechanism, Note how you use your hands to remove the latch mechanism After cleaning, get yourself a long screw. Use the screw to help maneuver the latch into Place ( you’ll see what I mean ) Use the long screw to pull the latch over to the door edge, then start the short screws You only need one long screw to align… Good luck, your door latch will be a lot better (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Attached thumbnail(s) |

Instead of removing door panels just for this I did it when fitting strips of sound deadening inside doors. Cheers. |
