(IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) picked up another esoteric detail of difference between proto and production cars. ....as a result of the windscreen research we did a few years back. quarter window on doors has the porsche P in a triangle emblem on the sekurit glass. up near the apex of glass. logo as per 911s of that era.  everything i had on file for all years of 914 production (including 6s) had the VW logo on the side and rear glass (and on most of the windscreens if they had the kinonglas windscreens). (later in 75 and 76 they added audi rings to the VW logo. none of the cars seem to have had the Porsche logo on the glass unless you got a sigla windscreen, which some cars got for certain months of production.  |
