Our new reinforced 915 differential cases are nearly ready for sale. We are currently doing the final milling procedures on a 5-axis machine to the casted gearbox cases. The cases are made from casted alumnium and are heat treated. Very solid material, which has been used on many other very stabile products yet. They were engineered much stronger than the original cases ever were. Differential bearings of 930 gearbox can be mounted. Differences on shape only on 2nd sight.
First finnished parts in the next two-three weeks.
First internal project is building a 915 gearbox with this case for a G-model with 964 engine.

Hi,
export Price in $ about 2.600 $. The sales Price in Germany is inclusive german VAT, which can be subtracted for Export to the US.

Lots of old 915 trannies have very bad cases. Especially the Magnesium cases are on one side very bad in surface, but on the other side they are mostly completely worn out. If you take such a gearbox and put torque on them you will not have fun for a long time.

We are building some gearboxes for cars with very powerful engines which are partly being used for races and we know, that the old cases do not stand this.

Even the later aluminium cases have their Problems (worn out bearing places) and could be more stabile. Ring and pinion are not held in Position if high torque is applicated and that destroys the parts.

That was the starting idea for our case...
