I decided to upgrade the suspension with Bilstein struts, front and rear.
The instructions that come with are not very helpful. I’m wondering for the fronts, if the small rubber washer seen in the picture gets seated just below where it is so the top hat has a cushion to ride on. Obviously the Bilstein is the top strut and the one removed (KYB) on bottom. For the rear struts ( these are B6 units) where does the circlip reside if you want to stay at factory, or a bit lower, height. I’m going with 914Rubber 100 lb sport springs. ![]() ![]() Thanks in advance, John |
