There's a couple of bolts on each end of the pedal board holding the board to the chassis. That riveted piece is to limit how far the accelerator can be pressed. Once the bolts are out, you have to shimmy the board around the brake and clutch pedals.
It may help too to remove the 2 bolts holding the accelerator pedal to the floor. |

Thanks, make more sense now will retry in the am when less frustrated by the unknown but hey I'm willing to learn.. thanks for the help..
