that's the clutch pedal hard stop.
when you finally get the board loose, take the rubber covers off of the brake and clutch and it'll make it easier to wiggle the board out. |

Thanks thought it looked like a picture I've seen where the brake switch has like a bracket..I'm new to all this ..
